A Late Tribute To Thomas Finn Shanahan





Thomas Finn Shanahan was born on November 4, 1951, in Los Angeles, Tommy lived a fulfilling life surrounded by his loved ones. Tommy, passed away on September 15, 2018, at the age of 66 in Los Angeles, California. Surrounded by family and friends. Tommy was a proud graduate with a B.A. degree and valued education and life.

Tom was a miniature train amateur and created amazing miniature cities.  Tom loved animals especially his Dachshund Heidi and worked in a kennel caring for a breeder of AKC dogs.

Tommy was an amateur motorcycle racer in his younger years and is featured in the Mysteries of Topanga Canyon series featuring a motorcycle ride in Topanga Canyon and some other chapters.  Tommy enjoyed backpacking in the Yosemite National Park with his brothers and John and Laurel.

Tommy will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his unwavering love and support for his loved ones.  He had a great sense of humor and was very bright.

Tommy was the son of Thomas Edward Shanahan and Brigid (Bea) Veronica Mullen Shanahan.  Tommy a twin, Edward Shanahan, an older sister Elizabeth and a middle brother John Mullen Shanahan.  Tommy was an uncle to John Edward Shanahan, Laurel Marie Shanahan Sobol, Kevin Michael Shanahan, Moira Rose Kirk and Marina (Nina) Kirk Banache.
